The Tour Preferred irons have a thinner topline and shorter heel-to-toe than most contemporary irons. This gives a smaller looking club when addressing the ball preferred by some golfers, often described as the ‘players look.’

The ‘tour-configured’ sole has softened leading and trailing edges, which are designed to minimize resistance and discourage digging. That helps the sole to power smoothly through the turf to promote purer ball-striking.

The Tour Preferred irons also incorporate TaylorMade’s renowned Inverted Cone clubface technology. Inverted Cone technology expands the area of the clubface that delivers high ball speed, promoting greater distance on off-center hits and helps to maintain consistent distance from shot to shot.

A shallow, undercut cavity allows for repositioning weight to the perimeter, equaling high MOI (Moment of Inertia) for exceptional stability and forgiveness on off-center hits.
