Cleveland says the Launcher 2009 fairway wood is 11% bigger than any other Cleveland fairway wood they have produced before.

Out on the range we tested the ‘strong’ 3 wood first which has only 13 degrees of loft on. The large head design certainly gives you confidence and even though it only has 13 degrees of loft the club face is still very visible at address. We tested it off a very short tee peg at first and to our amazement we achieved amazing distance so this club is highly recommended to golfers who are struggling off the tee.

Off the deck the 13 and 15 degree 3 woods are some of the easiest we have hit this year in terms of getting the ball airborne. Off the face the launcher 09 is solid and even miss hit shots sounded good and produced good distance. The large low profile head design and light weight shaft make this Cleveland’s longest fairway wood to date. Yet again this Cleveland product is priced very competitively and certainly wont break the bank.
