With the S9-1 Driver, Cobra have enhanced their Hotter 9 Points technology to further increase club face efficiency. The S-91 face shape has been designed using a 1:1 length-to-width ratio. This allows for a more efficient transfer of energy from the club face to the ball.

Higher ball speeds and a more consistent ball flight are the result of the Milled Dual Rhombus Face Insert, which integrates the Hotter 9 Points technology across the entire clubface. With the use of Frequency Tuned internal crown rib geometry, Cobra have ensured that the golfer will produce drives that sound and feel as satisfying as they look.

Swing Speed – 87-108 Mph
Ball Speed – 125-155 Mph

Staff Review: Cobra S9-1 Driver

King Cobra golf equipment has always been a firm favorite with us so we were very excited to test out the new S9-1 driver out on the range. Firstly, it still has the usual Cobra driver looks at address but this time slightly more conventional in shape than previous speed models. The S9-1 F speed model sits very neutral at address which for cobra drivers is a first as normally they like sit a little closed or ‘toed in’. After hitting a few balls it’s very noticeable that the S9-1 driver sounds nothing like any cobra driver we’ve tested before, still explosive but much more solid and controlled. The light weight shafted that comes fitted as standard really helps you generate faster club head speed which gave us impressive distance. The large head design makes this club massively forgiving which has always been a classic cobra trade mark. Overall this driver will suit a wide range of golfing abilities, don’t be put off by previous cobra drivers that’s did sound rather loud and sometimes off putting, the S9-1 driver is much quieter with a all round solid feel.

I have just bought this club as I'm getting back into the game, only used it on the range so far but getting so much distance (250 yards +) really happy with this club 5 stars and top service from the shop too.
