How do I make a BID?
It?s easy, you have two choices, you can either;
Key in the amount you wish to BID (the minimum BID increase will always be shown underneath the box) and then press the SUBMIT button. You will then need to keep your eye on the AUCTION and keep increasing your BID as necessary if someone out bids you.
OR
There is an even easier way. Why not decide the maximum amount you want to pay for the club(s) and key in this amount. Our system will take care of the BIDDING automatically on your behalf. Don't worry as you won't necessarily pay this amount for the club(s) as this will depend on other BIDS received. Your BID will be increased automatically in the relevant incremental amounts UP TO YOUR MAXIMUM BID.
Each BID you make will be displayed immediately in the MY ACCOUNT section under MY AUCTIONS. You can also access this information at any time when you log-in.
Can I enter a maximum BID amount so I do not need to monitor the Auction?
Yes, just key in the maximum amount you want to pay in the Maximum Amount box. You will then automatically out bid the highest bidder by the minimum increment up to your maximum. Remember, you may still win the club for less than your maximum BID.
What happens if there are matching maximum BIDS?
The person who logged their maximum BID into the Live Auction first (in date and time order), will have the current winning BID. This will be displayed in the MY ACCOUNT section under MY AUCTIONS.
How do I know if someone has out BID me?
The LIVE AUCTION LISTINGS page will always show the current highest BID. The LIVE AUCTION product details will also show a complete list of the BID HISTORY of every bid. You can also check your BIDS in the MY ACCOUNT section under MY AUCTIONS. You will also automatically receive an e-mail.
In the BID HISTORY SECTION, what does SYSTEM INCREMENTED mean?
This is in connection with the automatic bidding process. If someone has placed a MAXIMUM BID, the system will automatically increase the bid in the relevant incremental amounts up to their maximum bid.
Will I be able to retract a BID?
Unfortunately, you will not be able to retract a BID once placed. Please see our TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
How do I know if I have won the Auction?
You will receive a confirmation e-mail.
What happens when the Auction has closed?
If you have won, you will receive an e-mail directing you to the MY AUCTIONS under MY ACCOUNT section. In the section "Last 5 items you've won" you will have the option to PAY FOR ITEM. Payment should be made as quickly as possible. If payment is not received within a maximum of 7 days, we reserve the right to remove the club(s) from your ACCOUNT.
If you have not won, you will have received an e-mail confirming you have been out bid.
Will I have to pay for delivery?
Our normal delivery rates apply. This includes FREE DELIVERY for purchases over £75 to UK mainland customers.
