Note: Second Hand Golf Clubs will NOT accept any clubs with an audible rattle in the head
Steel Shafts - in any condition, must be free from cracks, splits, kinks, bends or dents.
Graphite Shafts - in any condition must be free from cracks, splits, surface cuts or frays
Iron Sets - will only be accepted with all matching shafts.
Drivers with Tool Kits Any club/s that have a moveable weight or shaft system must come with the appropriate Tool / Wrench kit. The tool kits are an integral part of modern day drivers, fairways and hybrid clubs so it is vital they are included so they can be adjusted as the manufacturers intended.
HEAD CONDITIONS
10 - BRAND NEW. Never hit a ball. With or without original wrapping.
9 - EXCELLENT Does not appear to have been used. May only show signs of minimal 'shop wear' eg; faint shop carpet scratches.
 
8 - VERY GOOD. Showing only very light head marking to the face and sole. The club/s may have been used for a couple of rounds or only on the driving range.
 
7 - GOOD.>(NO SKY MARKS or Marking to the top edge of woods) May show signs of normal use on the Face and sole. Woods will have no chips or sky marks and the face will be in good condition. Irons may show average wear and marking on the face and sole, No dents or stone chips. 
6 - FAIR. In perfectly good order but showing some cosmetic wear. There may be facial ball striking wear and light marks on the top edge of woods. Irons may show moderate face wear and have minor stone chips. . 
5 - WELL USED. Still in good playable order, but showing signs of wear and tear. Woods may have scratches on the crown and sky marks but NO Dents in the metal. Irons and wedges could have heavy facial wear and possible stone chips but no rusting spots.

Unacceptable Head Conditions Anything that falls below the 5 category we are unable to give a price for. At this point the club is too cosmetically damaged and has no re-sale value. Here is an example below:

SHAFT CONDITIONS
10 - BRAND NEW. Never been used. Unmarked.
9 - EXCELLENT. Does not appear to have been used.May only show signs of ?shop wear? eg; faint scratches from display racks.
8 - VERY GOOD. Showing only the very slightest of marking. The club may have been used for a few holes or only on the driving range.
7 - GOOD. Steel shafts may have some marking and slight wear to decals, but no rust spots. Graphite shafts may show light scratching.
6 - FAIR. In perfectly good order but showing cosmetic wear. Steel shafts could have some bag wear to decals and a few small marks or rust spots. Graphite shafts may have light bag wear spots.
5 - WELL USED. Still in good playable order but showing signs of wear and tear. Steel shafts could have some rust spots but not to the point of ?pitting? the shaft. Decals could be quite heavily worn or even missing. Graphite shafts could show moderate bag wear marks.

Unacceptable Shaft Conditions
As shown in the examples any shafts that have rust spots or dents are not permitted for Part Exchange.

GRIPS
10 - BRAND NEW. Never been used. With or without origional wrapping.
9 - EXCELLENT. Does not appear to have been used. May only show signs of "shop wear" eg; handled by customers.
8 - VERY GOOD. Still in almost new condition and retaining the origional tacky feel. Used for a few holes or only on the driving range.
7 - GOOD. May have lost the original tacky feel. Manufacturers paint could be starting to fade. No wear to the surface of the grip.
6 - FAIR. Still in good usable order, however wear marks could be starting to show. Much of the Manufacturer's paint could be missing.
5 - WELL USED. Depression marks showing. Could have started to rip at the bottom. May be in need of replacement. |
