The multi relief sole minimises turf resistance and ensures that the ground contact point remains forward to reduce bounce and skip at impact.The factory installed SureFit Swingweight Screw helps to position the CG deep while also providing a precise head to shaft match.

Titleist PT 906 F2 Fairway Woods
 Utilizing new research and technology the Titleist 906 F2 has an innovative multi relief sole design. This state of the art technology allows a more solid contact with the ball on different turf and varying conditions. This is made possible by ensuring that the ground-sole contact point remains forward, toward the leading edge of the club. Therefore this reduces the amount of potential bounce into the ball which can be common when playing off tightly mown fairways.
The PT 906 F2 fairway has a multi-material construction with a separate face insert that gives maximum ball speed of the club head. Titleist engineers have repositioned the centre of gravity towards the face of the club.

Titleist 904F Fairway Wood
 The body of the Titleist 904F Fairway Wood fairway metal is constructed from 355 Carpenter Steel. Utilizing a two-piece face pull construction, the 904F fairway metals feature a thinner, uniform 275 Carpenter Steel face insert plate that contributes to a solid, lively feel, higher ball speed and hotter flight. A thin outer face flange supports the face insert to maintain consistent ball-speed and feel across the face.
The new 904F fairway metals are designed with an optimum center of gravity location, low and forward, and the proper distance from the shaft axis. This creates higher launch and lower spin, and increases ball speed on center face impacts.
