The Titleist PT 906 F2 is available in the 3 loft options 13.5/15 and 18 degrees. Utilizing new research and technology the 906 F2 has an innovative multi relief sole design. This state of the art technology allows a more solid contact with the ball on different turf and varying conditions. This is made possible by ensuring that the ground-sole contact point remains forward, toward the leading edge of the club. Therefore this reduces the amount of potential bounce into the ball which can be common when playing off tightly mown fairways.
The PT 906 F2 fairway has a multi-material construction with a separate face insert that gives maximum ball speed of the club head. Titleist engineers have repositioned the centre of gravity towards the face of the club. This creates less drew bias at address, something that lowers handicap golfers and tour players prefer as they can then dictate the ball flight they require.
The PT 906 F2 also offers a wide face which gives great forgiveness along with its pear shaped head as seen in previous Titliest models. Along with its neutral appearance at address its easy to see why its been popular with many of the tour players.
