After a long wait we finally get hold of the new Mizuno MX-700 range of clubs. The Mizuno MX-700 Hybrid certainly looks the part at address, with clean lines and a slightly bigger head size than previous models. This immediately gives you that confidence as it genuinely looks forgiving before you even hit it.
On test it certainly ticked all the boxes and a vast improvement from earlier models. Mizuno have always been known for the quality in producing world class iron clubs but unfortunately the same can’t always be said about the wood range of clubs. The Mizuno MX -700 Hybrid is a clear indication that they are moving forward with technology by providing us with a first class hybrid club.
One feature we really did like was the height we got from MX -700 Hybrid over other hybrids we have tested. This makes attacking long par 3’s and par 4’s much easier as the ball will land much softer. This does however compromise the distance a little but we will over look this as forgiveness and control are more important. The Mizuno MX -700 Hybrid will suit in just about any standard of golfer, and priced well under £100 it’s an absolute bargain!
