Mizuno Utility / Hybrid clubs are ideal for golfers who struggle with long irons or want more distance and control. Mizuno utility clubs have remained very similar in shape over recent years and have seen great success on tour from Mizuno staff player Luke Donald.
Like Mizuno irons the Utility / Hybrid clubs are very traditional in shape and size. All are designed to be forgiving but yet offer maximum playability. These characteristics are all found in the Mizuno FLI-HI CLK (2006 model) and CLK FLI-HI (2008 model).
More recent additions to the Mizuno Utility / Hybrid range include the MX-700 and MP FLI HI. The MX-700 utility club is the latest in technology form the Mizuno engineers. The ‘Hot Metal’ design creates a light weight steel face that creates massive power at impact. The Mizuno MP FLI HI utility club is one for the more traditional golfer as it the club resembles a long iron rather than a hybrid club. However with strategic weight placement the forged club head makes for a more forgiving option than a conventional long iron. The Mizuno MP FLI HI utility clubs are available as 2,3,4,5 iron replacements.
