The Ping G15 Hybrid’s are here at last! Ping has changed the design on the G15 hybrid from previous models as the Ping G15 Hybrid features a more traditional Iron-style design.
The G15 hybrid has been engineered to provide a high launch ball flight that mid to high handicap golfers struggle to achieve when using long irons.
The stainless steel construction of the G15 hybrid and revolutionary hosel design puts the centre of gravity more towards the face of the club. This helps to create a high launch ball flight with minimal spin on the ball.
The G15 Hybrid Iron style face design with offset helps to reinforce the look of an iron but plays more forgiving like a more traditional style hybrid club.
Combine that with the large internal toe pad helps expand the perimeter weighting to create the most forgiving and longest hitting hybrid to come out of the Ping factory.
The G15 hybrid will come fitted with the latest Ping TFC 149 shaft unless stated. The TFC 149 shaft has been engineered to create maximum club head speed and launch angle.
Staff Review: PING G15 Hybrid
Ping clubs are one of our favourite brands here at second-hand-golf-clubs.co.uk so when we got the opportunity to have a go with the latest Ping G15 Hybrid we all jumped at the chance.
Firstly, its looks are very different to the previous Ping hybrid models. The appearance is certainly more like an iron at address which does take some getting used too. The head of the club feels a little heavier in the swing than the G10 which made it feel very solid at impact. The biggest difference I felt personally was how forgiving it was, it felt you could hit the ball with any part of the face and you would still get the same result as a central strike. All in all a very impressive piece of kit and its nice to see the ping engineers trying something different and move forward with technology
