The TaylorMade R9 driver takes ball flight control to the next level: By giving players the ability to manually change the face angle as well as the centre of gravity, the TaylorMade R9 driver represents a new dawn in golf club adjustability.
Using a simple bolt positioned in the clubhead, the TaylorMade R9 Driver can be used in eight different positions and golfers can change position in seconds. This adaptability allows the R9 to promote shots which are higher, carry further and move right to left, which are lower, controlled and move left to right or which are neutral, mid height and straight.
The TaylorMade R9 TP driver has eight adjustable positions that are easily changeable in a minute or so prior to the round if needed and three moveable weight ports provide the optimal trajectory for your swing so enabling a lower flight on windy days and higher flight if a softer landing is required.
Movable Weight Technology also plays a big part in the TaylorMade R9 driver with three weight ports in the clubhead, and each driver coming with one 16 gram and two 1 gram weights. By changing the weights to help promote draws, fades or straight shots, the golfer actually has access to 24 different driver types with just one R9.
The TaylorMade R9 driver has been designed to reflect the very best of classic golf club design mixed with the modernity for which TaylorMade are famed. The clubhead incorporates ‘Ultra Thin Wall’ technology and the triangular shape promotes high moment of inertia. Combined with the ‘Inverted Cone Technology’ that has impressed across the TaylorMade range, these developments help make the R9 a club that leads the golfing world in technological advance but which is also incredible forgiving and easy to hit.
